How does an electronic cigarette work?
An Electronic Cigarette also known as an E-Cig or PV (Personal vaporiser) consists of three parts. A battery, atomiser, cartridge and or drip tip. We sell each of these on the site and below I will break down a description of each individual component of the Electronic Cigarette.
The Electronic Cigarette Battery
They are rechargeable, come in different shapes/sizes and carry the general rule of thumb: in which the bigger the battery, the longer it will last before requiring another recharge. This can range from 2 – 3 hours for the smaller models and 4 – 8 hours for the larger models. (Depending on personal use.) With an average 2 – 3 hour recharge time.
The Electronic Cigarette Atomiser
This is the heating element of the E-Cig, used to turn the E-liquid inside the cartridge into vapour to be inhaled and exhaled. The atomiser in itself uses power from the battery to heat a coil and cause the subsequent vapour.
The Cartridge
Is located and attached as the mouth piece of the E-Cig, whilst also containing the E-Liquid that you will be smoking. As with all E-Cigs you can acquire different types of cartridges to satisfy your personal needs.
Pre Filled Cartridges
These cartridges are pre-filled with whatever flavour E-Liquid you desire. The advantage of this would be the easier and less hands on approach to maintaining your E-Cig, with the pre-filled cartridges being an easy throwaway item once finished with. You simply replace the empty cartridge with a new pre-filled cartridge and once again you’re ready to go. However, pre-filled cartridges are expensive despite the relative ease of using them.
Refillable Cartridges
Are a more practical and cheaper method in using an E-Cig. They consist of an empty cartridge ready to be filled and refilled whenever you want, while never having to be thrown away. The process of refilling takes much longer than just using a pre-filled cartridge, but the relatively cheap bottles are a long term money saving alternative.
Drip Tips
A drip tip is compiled of a detachable metal or plastic mouth piece, with a hollow centre which is used to drip the E-Liquid down and onto the atomiser. People use this method due to their personal preference on the greater amount of vapour and flavour procured from it. This is however, just personal opinion, I suggest you try all methods.

Can I smoke Electronic Cigarettes anywhere?
Chapter 28, Part 1, Chapter 1, Section 1, Para 2 of The Health Act 2006 states:
“smoking” refers to smoking tobacco or anything which contains tobacco, or smoking any other substance; and smoking includes being in possession of lit tobacco or of anything lit which contains tobacco, or being in possession of any other lit substance in a form in which it could be smoked.”
This act states that smoking consists of owning anything that contains a tobacco substance; therefore, the government ban on smoking in public places affects all cigarettes except E-Cigs.
The lack of tobacco in both E-Cigs and PV’s mean they do not come under or have to abide by this law; therefore you can smoke it anywhere you want, anytime you want!
